Contraindication

1. corrosive esophagitis patients;
2. esophageal varices patients;
3. patients of the esophagus or cardia stenosis or obstruction, esophageal diverticulum, esophageal cancer, esophageal surgery;
4. severe cardiopulmonary disease patients;
5. bilateral nasal disorders or nasal surgery patients;
6. patients with aortic aneurysm;
7. patients with severe heart failure, severe hypertension, coronary heart disease;
8. Intestinal dysfunctionor failure.

Intended use

1. Feeding and Nutrition Support: For patients who are unable to eat by themselves, such as those who are unconscious or have had oral surgery, the latex gastric tube can be inserted into the stomach through the nose or mouth to deliver liquid food, nutrients, or water, ensuring that the patient receives adequate nutrition and hydration.
2. Gastric Decompression: In certain diseases or surgical procedures, the patient's stomach may accumulate excessive gas or fluid, causing discomfort or complications. The latex gastric tube can be inserted into the stomach and used with a suction device or gravity drainage to remove stomach contents, relieving gastric pressure.
3. Drug Administration: Sometimes, certain medications need to be given through a gastric tube, especially those that are not suitable for oral administration or require precise dosage control. The latex gastric tube provides a convenient and accurate route for drug delivery.
4. Gastric Juice Analysis: When diagnosing certain digestive system diseases, doctors may need to collect gastric juice samples for examination and evaluation. The latex gastric tube can be used to aspirate gastric juice samples for subsequent testing.

Directions

1. Choose the appropriate specifications on the basis of clinical need.
2. Peel off the packaging and take out the tubing.
3. Check if the tubing function in good flow before intubation .
4. Check if the stomach tube fixed or not after intubation, according to clinical need,.
5. If it is prolonged indwelling, clean the joints inside and outside after care operations or the end of the injection of nutrient solution, also cap the connector, to prevent bacterial transition breeding.

Cautions

1. This product is disposable products, prohibit re-use and use the expired products, read the instructions carefully before use;
2. This product is only for operational use by nursing staff;
3. The product is sterilized by ETO, prohibited to use if packaging is damaged;
4. This procedure must be carried during complete aseptic technique.
