Purpose of Use
The endotracheal tube is designed to be inserted into the trachea with the primary aim of establishing and maintaining an unobstructed airway, facilitating the efficient exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide.

Instructions for Use of Cuffed ETTs

1. Prior to use, healthcare professionals must assess the patient's trachea to select the appropriate size of endotracheal tube and confirm nasal insertion.
2. Remove the sterile tracheal tube from its protective packaging with care.
3. Visually inspect the patency of the main tube lumen before intubation.
4. Examine the cuff, pilot balloon, and valve for leak-proofness and integrity. Fill the cuff using a Luer syringe connected to the filling system by inserting it into the Luer adapter and injecting sufficient air to fully inflate the cuff.
5. After testing the cuff inflation, deflate it completely.
6. Intubate the patient using standard medical techniques, utilizing a laryngoscope to verify the correct placement of the endotracheal tube.
7. Once intubation is successful, inflate the cuff with a Luer syringe or an appropriate cuff pressure gauge, ensuring just enough air to create an effective seal in the trachea. The cuff pressure should not exceed 2.5kPa.
8. Secure the tube according to standard medical practices.
9. Periodically check for leaks in the inflation system, measuring cuff pressure and verifying the integrity of the system during intubation. Any deviation from the desired sealing pressure should be promptly investigated and corrected.
10. Monitor the patient's condition throughout the intubation period and clear any sputum as necessary.
11. Before extubation, deflate the cuff by inserting a syringe into the cuff filling system and removing all air from the cuff until the pilot balloon collapses.
12. Extubate the patient in accordance with standard medical protocols, and dispose of the tracheal tube appropriately.

• Throat edema
• Acute inflammation of trachea
• Tracheal compression of thoracic aortic aneurysm
• Severe bleeding
• Cervical spinal injuries

Cautions

1. Single use only. Do not use when expired;
2. Only for tracheal intubation trained healthcare personnel use;
3. Intubation period should not exceed 30 days;
4. Do not apply laser on the tube;
5. The product is sterile, do not us if the package is opened or damaged;
6. Choose the suitable specification of Endotracheal tube according to patient's age, sex, body size and other actual situation;
7. After use, product and packaging should be disposed according to hospital requirement or environmental protection requirement.
