Contraindication

• Heart Failure;
• PVC allergic patients;
• Gastritis;
• Acute Nasopharyngeal Inflammation;
• Corrosion of the Esophagus by Strong Acids or Alkalis;
• Massive Gastrointestinal Bleeding Due to Esophageal Varices;
• Poor Cardiopulmonary Function and Physical Condition;
• Nasal obstruction, severe dyspnea, esophageal stenosis or infarction patients are prohibited;
• Patients with Psychiatric Disorders.

Intended use
Nutritional Feeding: The Ryle type feeding tube is primarily used to deliver nutritional fluids directly into the duodenum through the tube, suitable for patients who cannot ingest sufficient nutrition through normal oral intake.

Drug Administration: It is also sometimes used to deliver medications into the duodenum.

Directions

1. Open the package and take out Feeding Tubes after checking the package is unopened or undamaged.
2. Wash your hands with soap.
3. Check the Tensile properties of connector.
4. Through the nose or oral, made Feeding tube Into the stomach or small intestine.
5. Observed the tube insertion position by X light chest.
6. Insert the syringe head with liquid nutrient into the feeding tube connector.
7. Injection nutrients to patient through syringe.
8. Wash your hands again.

Adverse reactions
Inhalation pneumonia caused by bacterial infection; Reflux esophagitis.

 

Cautions

1. This product is disposable products, prohibit re-use and use the expired products, read the instructions carefully before use;
2. This product is only for operational use by nursing staff;
3. The product is sterilized by ETO, prohibited to use if packaging is damaged;
4. This procedure must be carried during complete aseptic technique;
5. Insert the catheter gently to avoid esophagus mucosa injury;
6. If you meet resistance, try changing angle of the catheter when inserting, avoid twitching repeatedly;
7. After use, the product and packaging should be disposed according to hospital or environmental requirements.
