Indications
The 3 Way Double Balloon latex gastric tube is a medical product primarily used for aspirating fluids from a patient's stomach or performing hemostatic treatment. Its unique design enables it to play a crucial role in medical procedures. Crafted from latex material, it features three lumens and two balloons, rendering it highly efficient and accurate in both aspirating gastric fluids and achieving hemostasis.

Contraindications
- Use with caution in individuals allergic to natural rubber.
- Contraindicated in cases of head trauma with basilar skull fracture.
- Prohibited for individuals who have ingested petroleum products (e.g., kerosene, gasoline).
- Not recommended for patients with aneurysms of the aorta or severe heart conditions.
- Use with caution in patients with varices in the lower esophagus.
Usage Instructions
- Determine and measure the length the gastric tube should be inserted.
- Check the gastric tube balloon for leaks and then deflate it.
- Lubricate the gastric tube thoroughly.
- Insert the tube to 60cm-65cm, aspirate through the tube to confirm the gastric balloon is fully inside the stomach, then inflate the gastric balloon with no more than its nominal volume.
- Gently pull back on the gastric tube until resistance is felt, then secure the tube and inflate the esophageal balloon with no more than its nominal volume.
Precautions, Warnings, and Instructional Notes
- This product is for single use only. Do not reuse. Read the instructions carefully before use. Do not use if expired.
- This product is for use by healthcare professionals only.
- This product is sterilized with ethylene oxide. Do not use if the packaging is damaged.
- Petroleum-based lubricants can corrode the balloon. Do not use lubricants containing petroleum-based substances. It is recommended to use silicone rubber-based or vegetable oil lubricants as lubricating and isolating agents for observing hemostatic effects.
- The balloon may rupture through exposure to ozone or ultraviolet light, improper use of lubricants or instruments (tweezers, pliers), excessive inflation pressure or volume, failure to adequately lubricate and deflate against the gastric wall, excessive pulling force, or use of corrosive hemostatic agents.
- The balloon may deflate, rupture, or displace for various reasons. Monitor the balloon pressure continuously during use.
- Excessive pulling or binding may cause blockage of the capillary lumen and inner lumen, making it difficult to remove the tube and aspirate.
- Excessive pulling may cause pressure on the gastric mucosa, leading to injury.
- Do not use liquids to inflate the balloon gastric tube.
- After the balloon gastric tube has been applied, it should not be left in place for nasogastric feeding, gastric decompression, or gastrointestinal lavage to prevent damage to the balloon or difficulty in removing the tube. Use a single-lumen gastric tube for these purposes if needed.
- Dispose of the product and its packaging according to hospital or environmental department requirements after use.
Sterilization Expiration
Valid for two years from the date of sterilization.

Ensure the product is stored in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated location, keeping it separate from harmful substances.
