INTENDED USE / INDICATIONS
The Nasal Oxygen Cannula is an transporting oxygen device with double channels. It is used to deliver supplemental oxygen to a patient or person in need of extra oxygen by nasal cavity in which nostril sucker is placed; The connector port of the cannula is connected to an oxygen tank, a portable oxygen generator, or a wall connection in a hospital via a flowmeter.The oxygen flow from the tube.  

CONTRAINDICATIONS
Patients who are allergic to plastics are not recommended to use the Nasal Oxygen Cannula.


WARNINGS / PRECAUTIONS 

1. Do not use if package has been opened or damaged.
2. Read all warnings and instructions before use, improper use can result in serious or fatal illness or injury.
3. Since oxygen is a flammable substance, there should always be a "No Smoking"sign posted when a person is receiving oxygen.
4. Keep the oxygen container away from open flames or heaters, such as candles,fireplaces,gas stoves, or hot water heaters.
5. Expert clinical judgment should be exercised in the selection of the appropriate size for each individual patient.
6. Be sure all connections are secure.
7. Be careful Fire prevention,Prevent curling,squashing, tangling.
8. Do not use after the expiry date.
9. This is a disposable product for single use, any resterilization or reuse of the product can result in hazard to the patient.
10. Precautions shall be taken when discarding device and disposal of the device shall be made in accordance with applicable national regulations for biological hazardous waste.

ADVERSE REACTIONS

1. Patients may experience some dryness in the nose as a result of the high oxygen flow,which can be severe and than result in mucous membrane damaged.
2. For the severe hypoxia patients, it can't provide high concentration of oxygen and can't effectively alleviate the symptom of anoxia.
3. The Nostril sucker can be easily plugged by the nasal secretions.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

1. Position cannula on face by inserting cannula tips into nostrils.
2. Pass cannula Tubing over ears. Slide sleeve tubing toward neck for comfortable fit under the chin.
3. Set oxygen flow to level prescribed by physician,the gas source pressure is generally adjusted between 0.15-0.30MPa.
4. Attach sure flow tubing to oxygen supply.

Cautions

1. For single patient use only.
2. Not intended for reprocessing.
3. Avoid freezing and excessive heat.
4. Be sure all connections are secure.

Storage
Store in dry, ventilated and cool place, avoid exposure to harmful substances.
